INSTRUCTOR:
Craig Porter
A National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Level 3 coach and has been coaching shotgunners for over 25 years. He is also on the NRA/USA Shooting National Coach Development Staff for Shotgun as well as a NRA/USA Shooting National Advanced Certified Shotgun Coach. He has extensive experience with competitive shooting and has managed over 50 tournaments including the Texas State Sporting Clays shoot. Craig is an NRA CRSO, Refuse to Be a Victim® Instructor and a Training Counselor.
OVERVIEW
In this class, Coach candidates will learn to master the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, safety protocols, coaching techniques, and much more under the guidance of NRA National Coaching Development Staff.
This course is endorsed by Civilian Marksmanship Program, Scholastic Pistol Program and USA Shooting. Level 1 Coaches must be at least age 18. Juniors age 15-17 may attend the school to become an NRA Junior Trainer by completing this two-day course of classroom instruction and practical exercises. Classes are conducted wherever and whenever an individual or organization agrees to sponsor a class.
