Overview
Certified Instructors teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe, proficient, and ethical use of firearms.Â

The NRA Instructor Training Courses consists of two parts:Â
Â
Part one: Basic Instructor Training (Must be current within two-years.)Â
Part two: The specific discipline training e.g. CRSO, Rifle, Pistol, Home Firearms Safety, etc.Â

The successful completion of this course will allow individuals to educate, train, and certify NRA Range Safety Officers (RSO’s) and write Firing Range Standard Operating Procedures.Â

Prerequisite: Basic Instructor Training within two (2) years and Range Safety Officer.Â
Completing this course will help you:
- To educate, train, and certify NRA Range Safety Officers (RSOs) and write Firing Range Standard Operating Procedures.
Who is the course for?
A Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO) candidate must be an NRA Certified RSO and have attended Basic Instructor Training within two years prior to attending CRSO Training.Â
