He is a NRA rifle and pistol instructor as well as being certified Range Safety Officer. He is also certified as a Texas LTC instructor.
OVERVIEW
March 2 @ 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Anyone who wants to learn to safely use a handgun or get better at handling their handgun. This course is a pre-requisite for NRA Basic Pistol Instructors. Students will get the NRA’s The Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook.
Completing this course will teach you:
- Firearm safety
- Gun handling
- Various types of handguns
- Fundamentals of marksmanship
- Shooting positions
- Practical exercises on the firing range
- Firearm cleaning
- Firearm storage
- A summary of handgun sports and activiites
