Is currently NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, Home Firearms Safety Instructor, Range Safety Officer, and Refuse To Be A Victim® Instructor, License to Carry Instructor, Level III Firearms Instructor.
OVERVIEW

Anyone who wants to learn to safely use a handgun or get better at handling their handgun. This course is a pre-requisite for NRA Basic Pistol Instructors. Students will get the NRA’s The Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook.
Completing this course will teach you:
- Firearm safety
- Gun handling
- Various types of handguns
- Fundamentals of marksmanship
- Shooting positions
- Practical exercises on the firing range
- Firearm cleaning
- Firearm storage
- A summary of handgun sports and activiites
