OVERVIEW
The course is a basic self-defense and subject-control program designed for entry level or veteran law enforcement and security officers. The focus is to teach students how to control and stabilize non-compliant subjects who are unarmed.
This course is taught with our Security Officer, Level IV Personal Protection Officer Training/Orientation to Protective Services classes. Check that schedule for the monthly course offering.
Completing this course will teach you:
- Understanding basic self-defense
- Pressure points
- Basic grappling
- Reactionary vs survival gap
Who is the course for?
The State of Texas does not have a statuary requirement to be trained before defending yourself. A person has little chance (in our opinion) of surviving without some basic training.
