A retired U.S. Marine, the P3TC Private Security Program Manager, and an NRA Basic Pistol, Basic Rifle, CCW, License To Carry Handgun, Private Security Program, Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events, U.S Concealed Carry Association Instructor, and is an NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer.

OVERVIEW

This Instructor Led Training course provides the six (6) hour Level II, the 30 hour basic, and the 10-15 hour handgun proficiency course for the 40-45 hour Level III training and certification as required by 1702.1675 TOC, and the State of Texas to be licensed, in four short days. This is the certification required for all Level III Commissioned Security Officers (Armed Security Officers).
Range fees, ammunition, and other expenses not included. Firearm rentals are available.
OC Pepper Spray is no longer part of this course, but often taught during the same training week. You may check the schedule and register for OC Pepper Spray training at www.P3TC.com or ask your instructor for details.
Students may also be able to get their License to Carry Handgun (LTC) certificate at a discount. Ask your instructor for details.

Code 1), a criminal conviction may disqualify you from a Commission or license under the Act. You may wish to review Rule 35.4’s list of disqualifying offenses and the related periods of ineligibility, available on the department’s website at http://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/psb/index.htm (click on the link to Administrative Code). You also have a right to request from the department a criminal history evaluation letter under Occupations Code Section 53.102.”
