Overview

This is 5+-hours of classroom and range time for young shooters, using the “NRA FIRST Steps Shotgun” as the basis. This class is open to youth shooters, 17 and under who are large enough to comfortably handle a shotgun. Typically this means the student is 10 or over and weighs 80 lbs. or more (this is up to parents discretion). Students 15 and under must be accompanied by their parents and all parents must sign a waiver. Bring your gun (and ammo) if you have one or buy ammo at the Club (guns are available if you don’t have one). Shot size limited to 7.5, 8, or 9. Eye and ear protection is mandatory for all youth and parents.
